The iWireless Solutions experience — what you can expect
Design and Development
Creating solutions is the rule rather than the exception here. Our engineers pioneer communications solutions for our clients on a regular basis and in a wide range of venues. These have included arenas and stadiums for the London Olympic Games, the Glasgow 2014 Games and many Premier League football clubs, as well as large-scale corporate offices and many other venues. Career progression in design will usually begin at technician level, and rise to senior engineering and project lead functions. The key skills that members of this team can offer include in-building designs, RF and design surveying, modelling and analysis, system dimensioning and post-integration reporting.
We continually invest in modelling tools and software to support designed solutions with the preparation of high-quality AutoCAD planning drawings for building control applications, schematics and outline concepts, and other project-related documentation. The key skills that members of this team can offer include AutoCAD, detailed schematic drawings and specifications and electrical, mechanical and building control requirements.
Project Managers oversee the client experience throughout a project, managing projects from inception to handover. They are responsible for the scope of works, delivery to site and installation, budget control, risk management, regular reporting and contractor relations. A background in project management (PRINCE2) is desirable, ideally within telecommunications and/or construction.
Sales and Business Development
Among the key requirements of this team are considering the prospects and potential of new offerings and technologies to build on the existing business base, working to sustain the existing client base and generating new business leads, as well as the promotion of new technologies. However, you will also need to be able to build and maintain excellent customer relationships, attend meetings and present to clients, and research market trends. In short, you will be part of a team that is focused on ensuring we maintain our competitive edge.
Operations and Support
Among the key requirements of this team are considering the prospects and potential of new offerings and technologies to build on the existing business base, working to sustain the existing client base and generating new business leads, as well as the promotion of new technologies. You will also need to be able to build and maintain excellent customer relationships, attend meetings, present to clients and research market trends.
